WALT: Write a Personal Persuasve Essay

From learning about H.H.H. techniques, to crafting a correct thesis statement using S.O.R., and drafting our persuasive essay, we definitely had a busy week in writing! I learned a LOT about how to persuade your readers using the Head, Heart, and Hands techniques.





Genre Pizzas

I earned a mystery pizza slice this week for the book Letters From Camp by: Kate Klise. I think I'm doing okay, I have two pizza slices (one for biography and the other as you already know is for mystery) so far and I am planning to get more!






UN Day Persuasive Project

On UN day on Friday, we presented our animoto that was trying to persuade the rest of 5th grade to read  international authors. Tose authors were Margaret Mahy, Eva Ibbotson, Jules Vern, Eoin Colfer, Michael Morpurgo, and Cornelia Funke. You can find that animoto at the bottom of my blog.
